Olympic Rifle Competition

As the new Home of the USA Shooting National Team, Hillsdale College is excited to welcome trap and skeet competitors to the 2022 USA Shooting National Shotgun Championship.

Both competitions will take place at the Halter Shooting Sports Education Center, a 113-acre shooting facility located near Hillsdale’s campus in south central Michigan.

Lodging is available at the onsite Dow Hotel, the local Days Inn, and nearby BnBs through  Hillsdale’s Home Connection Program. Additional lodging options are available in the nearby towns of Coldwater, Adrian and Jackson.  Lunch will be available for purchase onsite, and many local restaurants are within a ten-minute drive from the Halter Center.

SAFESPORT: All coaches will need to have valid SafeSport training completed before arrival at the match, unless you are only coaching your own child. Information about SafeSport training and How-To guides can be found here. All coaches should familiarize themselves with the Minor Athlete Abuse Prevention Policies (MAAPPs) as well which can be found here.
